An article of interest

I thought that this article in New Scientist may be of interest to some people, especially given episode 3.05 and Fungus the bogeyman.

Truth really is sometimes stranger than fiction. It's a pity that they didn't reference this type of behaviour in the episode itself. It might have made the whole thing seem a little less fantastical. But, hey, maybe it will prompt some fic ideas for people :)
